Privacy notice

Last updated: 7 October 2026

GMLore is a start-up that has not yet been incorporated. Until the company is formed, the person responsible for your data (the "controller") is Amirreza Parhizkar, a GMLore founder. When GMLore becomes a limited company, it will take over this role and we will update this notice.

What this site collects

This website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no analytics, and it does not load anything from third-party servers. We collect personal data in only two ways.

1. Server logs

When you visit gmlore.com, our web server records a standard log entry: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested (including any extra details in the web address), the response status and size, the page you came from, and your browser's user-agent (which describes your browser and device).

  • Why: to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
  • Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.
  • How long: logs are kept in a small rolling file that is overwritten as new entries arrive (it never grows beyond about 30 MB), and they are deleted completely each time we update the site. We don't use them to identify visitors.

2. Emails you send us

If you email hello@gmlore.com, for example using a "Get in touch" button, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write.

  • Why: to reply to you, and, if you ask us to keep you posted, to send you occasional updates about GMLore.
  • Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in replying to messages; for updates, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
  • How long: until we no longer need them. We review our inbox at least once a year and delete what we don't need.

Who else handles your data

  • Hostinger, our hosting provider. The server that runs this site is in the United Kingdom.
  • Google, which provides our email through Google Workspace. Google may process data outside the UK under its own data-protection terms and safeguards.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to withdraw your consent. Email hello@gmlore.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/

Changes

We'll update this page if anything changes, and change the date at the top.
